Xue-Feng Jiang is currently a full Professor at East China Normal University in Shanghai. He pursued his Ph.D. studies with Professor Shengming Ma at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), Chinese Academy of Science. From 2008-2011, he did his postdoctoral research with Professor K. C. Nicolaou at the Scripps Research Institute in the field of natural product total synthesis. His research interests focus on sulfur chemistry. He has developed a set of new green sulfurating reagents and corresponding methodologies to achieve the transformation of sulfur atom from inorganic sulfur salts to organic sulfur-containing functional molecules under environmentally friendly conditions for drugs, materials and life related molecules. Prof. Jiang has published more than 50 papers (IF>10, 10 papers) in his independent research area. He was selected Ambassador of “S”in Periodic Table of Younger Chemists in 2018.
